4T’s research team can be deployed to help solve specific issues and problems, and this is, to us, an extremely interesting and challenging part of our work.
Recent contract research projects undertaken by 4T include:
• Investigation of emerging salinity areas on irrigated land
• Seepage from irrigation supply and drainage channels
• Evaporation losses from the Fairbairn Dam
• Extraction and management of water from flooded mine pits.
• Impacts of salinity on inland river systems.
• Bird monitoring and mapping in the Emerald Irrigation Area
• Mapping of silverleaf whitefly infestation over a season to identify control methods.
