Ian Rankine and Bronwyn Reid started 4T Consultants in May 1997 following their move back to Australia from working overseas, when they began working in the area of Best Management Practice (BMP) implementation in agricultural industries.
It became clear that many dollars were being spent on BMP, but without the desired result, as the plans were being devised without input from those responsible for implementation.
From this experience grew our philosophy that all key stakeholders must be considered and involved in natural resource management, particularly those with influence over the hazard situation.
