SMS Water Trading now offered

SMS Trading is now activated in southern markets

Waterfind has launched Australia’s first SMS water trading service.  If you are setup to receive SMS alerts with Waterfind, you will automatically be activated and can begin using our new SMS trading features immediately.

 How SMS water trading works:

You will receive notification via sms when there is an order to buy or offer to sell matching your alert parameters.  The SMS will contain a code you can use to buy or sell permanent or temporary water via SMS.  For example:

Waterfind sell order 2000ML@$280 split 50ML is close to your order. Reply

with AB2 100.4 to sell all and accept conditions of contract, AB2 50 sells

50ML.

You can then reply with the code and volume to confirm the sale.  For example, the response below confirms the purchase of 20 ML.

AB2 20

Notification is then sent via sms confirming the sale has either gone through or been rejected. 

Activating or Removing the SMS Trading Feature

Waterfind account holders can login at www.waterfind.com.au and update their User Details to activate or remove SMS trading as well as SMS alerts, and water ENews.
